WikiNorthia
WikiNorthia is a website project that encourages people across five local councils to share stories about life in the north of Melbourne – past and present. The project is the first of its type in Victoria and in fact Australia.
The WikiNorthia website is a wiki. The most famous example of a wiki website is Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that people edit all over the world.
What is a wiki?
A wiki is a type of website that allows the visitors to add, remove, and sometimes edit the content.
Can I contribute to WikiNorthia?
Yes, contributions are welcome from any person or group with a reliable story to tell about life, past or present, in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. Instructions on how to contribute are on WikiNorthia.

Libraries in partnership
WikiNorthia is a project of three library services in Melbourne's north, Darebin Libraries, Merri-bek Libraries and Yarra Plenty Regional Library. These three library services cover the five local councils of Moreland, Darebin, Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea.
The Library Board of Victoria funded the WikiNorthia website project.
