Pools and gyms

Active Merri-bek website provides information about each Active Merri-bek centre, including pools and gyms, group fitness classes, lap lane timetables, swimming classes, membership, casual fees and child care.

Some of our outdoor pools open according to the Active Merri-bek Hot and Cold Weather Pools Policy.

Brunswick Baths

A year-round facility with a 50-metre heated outdoor pool and kids splashpad, a 20-metre heated indoor pool and waterplay pool, gym, cardio room, personal training studio and group fitness classes.

Coburg Leisure Centre

A year-round facility with a 25-metre heated indor pool, heated learner's pool and toddler's play pool, spa and steam room, gym and group fitness classes.

Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool

A seasonal facility open 1 December to 31 March with a 50-metre outdoor pool, learner's pool and shaded toddler's pool, diving pool with a 1-metre diving board, barbecue and picnic facilities.

Fawkner Leisure Centre

A year-round facility with a 25-metre heated indoor pool, spa and sauna, fitness classes and gym, and Olympic-sized in-ground trampoline.

A seasonal outdoor pool area is open from 1 December to 31 March with a 50-metre solar-heated outdoor pool, deep water play area, learner's pool and toddler's play pool, shaded area and barbecues.

Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre

A year-round sport faciity with a 24/7 gym, cycle studio and virtual cycle, and fitness classes.

A seasonal outdoor pool area is open 1 October to 30 April with a 50-metre heated outdoor pool, 20-metre heated learner's pool under shading, water play splash pool and two giant waterslides.

When the pool reaches capacity
The Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre can reach capacity, especially during hot weather. At these times, members are given priority and people are let in on a 1-in-1-out basis to ensure the health, safety and fun of all pool-goers.

Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool

A seasonal facility open 1 December to the Labour Day weekend with a 33-metre solar-heated pool, shaded learner's pool and toddler's water play feature, diving pool with a 1-metre board, barbecues and picnic area.
