Skate parks

Council has three skate parks within the municipality.

All parks offer opportunities for junior through to advanced skaters.

Clifton Park, Adjacent to 430 Victoria Street, BrunswickBrunswick skate bowl

Completed in August 2015, the Brunswick Skate and BMX Park features a unique tri level clover style bowl with depths of 1.2, 2.5 and 3.3 m aimed to challenge a range of skating abilities.

The bowl is complimented by a small street section with ramps, fun box, euro gap, grind rails and two quarter pipes.

The elements in this skate park were requested as part of extensive consutation with the local skate community.

Harmony Park, 187-195 Gaffney Street, Coburg

A plaza type street course with plenty of ledges, stairs and rails. A hugely popular kidney bowl features an 8ft deep and 5ft shallow end. The mini ramp extension creates a great skate park for all to enjoy.

Harmony Park also has free wireless internet access.

CB Smith Reserve, Jukes Road, Fawkner

Entry path features skateable elements leading to a central area, with two volcanoes of different sizes. A pole jam is an interesting and unusual feature.

The skate park was extended in 2013 to add new elements and increase the challenges.

Former Northern Golf Course Driving Range (west of Sewell Reserve), Glenroy

The skate park was completed in January 2018.

Stage 2 of the project will see tree planting and landscaping works around the skate park. For further information visit the Glenroy Skate Park project page.
