Walking your dog

    At off-leash dog parks you must still keep your dog under control. You can find out more about these rules on our Park amenities and equipment page.

    In all other public places, dogs must be kept in control with a leash, cord, or chain. Dogs are prohibited from the area around playgrounds or within creeks.

        Canopy transformation: The avenue of Elm trees in Temple Park were planted following the WWI armistice in 1918 and were laid out as a ‘V’ in reference to ‘victory’, ‘honour’, ‘remembrance’ and ‘memorial’.
