Medium Density exhibition

Exhibition: Friday 12 October – Sunday 11 November

Opening Thursday 11 October, 6 – 8 pm

The reality of densification is here, and it’s ugly. Imagining a dystopian streetscape where speculative developments have replaced every bungalow, Medium Density will use video, animation, sculpture, collage and text-based works to parse and critique the era of the real estate bubble we have all been living through. Drawing on and expanding upon Scott and Diacolabrianos’ previous collaboration, Multidwelling, and Scott’s The Coburg Plan archives, Medium Density will take an even more unsparing look at the new Australian Ugliness cropping up in our suburbs daily.
