Get Solar for Your Home
Installing a solar system is a great way to reduce your energy bills and to reduce your carbon emissions. Over 20% of Australians now have solar on their roof generating their own clean green power.
Moreland is partnering with Solar Savers, a local government initiative led by the Eastern (EAGA) and Northern (NAGA) Alliance for Greenhouse Action, helping households to easily install quality and affordable rooftop solar.
Solar Savers will support Merri-bek households to identify and install suitable solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and/or battery storage and also offer residents advice about government subsidies and other finance options.
The service is avilable to homeowners who currently do not have a solar system.
Moreland City Council offers financial support for people on a low income to install solar. There is also a Victorian Government solar rebate and loan.
