Planned activity groups

What is a planned activity group?

Planned activity groups for older people provide fun and engaging activities that help to keep people active and provide opportunities to socialise.

There are a range of different planned activity groups in Merri-bek provided by Merri-bek City Council and Merri Community Health Service.

The programs are offered during week days, include lunch and some include transport to and from the venue.

How to request this service

To request Council's planned activity group service, you first need to make a referral.

The way to make a referral depends on your age and whether you are an existing client of a Merri-bek Aged and Disability Service.

See referral for service for further information.

The Aged and Disability Services brochure (PDF 268Kb) outlines the full range of Council services.
