Casserole Club Merri-bek
About Casserole Club
Casserole Club helps people share extra portions of home-cooked food with others in their area who are not always able to cook for themselves.
Moreland City Council is one of only three Councils selected to be part of the Casserole Club, a Victorian local government trial. We are working in partnership with Wesley Do-Care, a respected organisation with experience in managing volunteer programs.
Join Casserole Club Merri-bek as a cook or diner
We are currently recruiting both cooks and diners in Brunswick, Brunswick East and Brunswick West.
You can choose to cook at a time that is convenient, as a one-off or on a regular basis.
- Sign up to register as a cook, or
- email the Casserole Club to join as a diner.
After joining, a cook and diner who live close to each other and enjoy the same types of food will be connected.
All cooks that take part will be required to complete a brief food hygiene quiz and a police check.
For more information or to join, contact the Casserole Club team at Wesley Do-Care on 8199 6260, email Casserole Club, or visit the Casserole Club website.
Casserole Club Merri-bek is a trial funded by the Victorian Government Department of Health and coordinated by the Municipal Association of Victoria.
