At a Customer Service Centre you can ask about Council services, pick up information and make any Council payment including rates, permit fees, dog and cat registration and parking fines.

Hours

The Brunswick Customer Service Centre has reopened as of Monday 18 January, 2021.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Closed public holidays.

Please note: we are not accepting cash payments at this centre. You can still pay by cheque, EFTPOS or credit card (VISA/Mastercard).

If you wish to make a cash payment, please visit the Moreland Civic Centre in Coburg. You can also pay in cash by taking your bill to any Australia Post.

Parking and transport

A limited amount of time-restricted parking is available in Sydney Road, Dawson Street and Glenlyon Road.

Bus

There are bus stops on nearby side streets off Sydney Road.

Take bus routes:

  • 504 Moonee Ponds to Clifton Hill via Brunswick Road
  • 506 Moonee Ponds to Westgarth via Dawson Street
  • 508 Ponds to Alphington Station via Victoria and Blyth Streets, and
  • 509 West Brunswick to Sydney Road via Hope Street.

Train

Jewell and Brunswick Stations are a 10-minute walk. They are on the Upfield train line.

Tram

Tram stop number 21 is at the Dawson Street/Glenlyon Road and Sydney Road intersection. Route 19 goes to North Coburg and the City.

Bike

The Upfield bike path is a 5-minute ride. Exit at Dawson Street. Bicycle parking is at the front and side entrances.
