Frith Street, Brunswick
In April 2019, Council purchased land located at 14 Frith Street, Brunswick and will be transforming this area into a vibrant and fun open space for our community to enjoy.
This former foundry and Fletcher Jones factory has an interesting history that we will be preserving and celebrating in the design of the new park - including keeping some of the structural elements.
A Concept Design has been developed for this new park with full details on the Conversations Merri-bek webpage.
Please visit the site and explore the different ways you can have your say in what will go into the park.
We are looking forward to working with you on this exciting project.
This project is supported by the Victorian State Government Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) Local Parks Program, with a vision to create new parks to provide much needed recreation space and green our suburbs in built up urban areas of metropolitan Melbourne.
