Council has purchased No. 2 Spry Street North Coburg, with the intention of creating a 50m open space ‘buffer’ along the Merri Creek.

Following upgrade of Balfe Park playspace and open space areas, Council are now installing the circular gravel track around the sportsfield.

Construction of a new stormwater treatment wetland along the Westbreen Creek corridor at Gavin Park, Pascoe Vale. The wetland will treat stormwater run-off from surrounding housing and provide habitat for a range of native animals.
Funding has been allocated to continue implementation of the Gowanbrae Open Space Development and Management Plan which was endorsed by Council in May 2014.
