Outdoor exercise equipment was installed at two Gowanbrae locations in 2020, as Council continues to implement the Gowanbrae Open Space Development and Management Plan, endorsed by Council in 2014.

A cluster of outdoor exercise equipment now features near the Gowanbrae Community Centre.

Along the Riverwalk, two separate clusters of outdoor exercise equipment, spread along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, will enhance exercise opportunities along the circuit path. Note that the third cluster has now been amalgamated into the two other clusters following community requests.

Outdoor fitness equipment is also avaiable for use at the Elms Court parklands in Gowanbrae.
