Morgan Court Public Shade Structures, Glenroy
Project background
In response to further community feedback, two additional architecturally designed structures are now installed into Morgan Court. The two structures have a number of purposes; providing additional shade and amenity and include an integrated lighting system, that provide further ambience and safety at night.
In addition to the installation of the two sculptural structures, additional works were undertaken in Morgan Court, including:
- adjustment to the existing concrete seating;
- improvement to overall pedestrian circulation;
- provision for more useable space to cater for smaller events and activities; and
- a new drinking and water refilling station.
