In August 2019 Council upgraded the playground at Allard Park, as part of the the Merri-bek Play Strategy.
In December 2019, we upgraded the play space at Anderson Reserve, Coburg.
As part of the first stage of implementation of the Westbreen Creek Conservation and Development Plan, Council is pleased to announce that the Austin Crescent Playground will be refurbished in 2019.
In 2019-20 Council reconstructed Becket Street North and Muntz Avenue, Glenroy between Pecham Street and Gervase Avenue.
Council is undertaking the design of the Brunswick Mechanics Institute and Brunswick Town Hall forecourts, to enhance the civic and cultural focus of the precinct.

In 2018-19 Council reconstructed Cumming Street in Brunswick West.
Council is upgrading the playground at Denzil Don Reserve, located near the bottom of Hunter Street in Brunswick West and is seeking community feedback on the design concept.
In January 2020, we constructed a new public toilet facility at Elm Court in Gowanbrae.

In 2019 Council completed the Glenroy Skate Park, after extensive analysis of various sites across Glenroy.

Morgan Court Public Shade Structures, Glenroy
In February 2020, we refurbished the change and amenities rooms, upgraded the referee’s change and amenities room, and added a new accessible public toilet in the social rooms at Reddish Reserve in Hadfield.

In 2019 Council reconstructed Ross Street, Armstrong Street, Ryan Street and Batman Avenue in Coburg.
In 2019–20 Council reconstructed the Rosser Street and Wilkinson Street Car Parks in Brunswick.
In 2019 - 20 the Council reconstructed The Avenue, Coburg from Nicholson Street down to the eastern end.
In 2018-19 Sheils Reserve will be redeveloped with a focus on providing new play opportunities and revegetation to increase habitat for local birdlife.
