Council endorsed the Coburg City Oval Precinct Landscape Master Plan to improve community access to this open space in Coburg.
The redevelopment of the new Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre is now complete. The centre opens its doors to the community on Monday 29 October 2018.
In November 2018, we completed minor refurbishment works at the Senior Citizens centre in Fawkner.
In 2018/19 Council completed works at Hadfield Communtiy Hall including re-stumping, new lighting, acoustic treatment to ceilings, resealing timber floors, upgrade of the kitchen and appliances, Internal and external painting. Toilets upgraded to be compliant.
Council carried out streetscape improvements of the shopping strip, to revitalise the area and improve the pedestrian amenity, walkability and presentation.
In 2018-19 Council reconstructed the laneway at the rear of 21 - 55 Newman Street, Brunswick West.

In 2017-18 Council undertook drainage improvement works in the Somerlayton Crescent Drainage Catchment in Fawkner.
In 2017-18 Council reconstructed Campbell Street, Coburg between De Carle Street and Barrow Street.
In 2019 constructed at Richards Reserve in Coburg North.
This project replaces the Exeloo on the north west corner of Waterfield Street and Victoria Street mall with a free standing regular toilet block.
Council is in the process of developing a Conservation and Development Plan for the Westbreen Creek open space corridor between the Northern Golf Course (Glenroy Road, Glenroy) and the confluence with the Moonee Ponds Creek in Pascoe Vale.
