Pascoe Vale Community Facility - Construction project

The Pascoe Vale Community Facility is located at Rogers Reserve, 7-9 Prospect Street, Pascoe Vale

Project background

The Pascoe Vale Community Facility is Council's latest state of the art facility which co-locates a number of services under one roof.

The facility becomes the new home for the Sussex Neighbourhood House, as well as the Pascoe Vale Maternal and Child Health Centre and kindergarten.

The facility compliments the Pascoe Vale Pool and Pascoe Vale Community Hall, forming a new community hub available for residents, community groups and local services to use.

The new community facility comprises art rooms, computer room and class rooms, meeting room, internal courtyard, a communal lounge and kitchen, consulting rooms, childcare facilities, play spaces and Maternal Child and Health services as well as administration spaces and amenity areas.

The new building incorporates many sustainable design features such as solar panels, solar glazing and water tanks.

Works to the surrounding site include DDA compliant paths in Rogers Reserve and landscaped spaces suitable for recreation programs.
