Cole Reserve, Pascoe Vale - New netball courts

The Victorian Government’s new $9.6 million Inner City Netball Program is building 64 competition compliant netball courts in inner-Melbourne, ensuring nobody is turned away from playing the game they love.

Merri-bek is benefiting from the program, which will cater for the growing demand for sports like netball by building multi court facilities where they are needed most.

Cole Reserve is a large popular park for playgroups and active sport alike located on the corner of Cumberland and Kent Roads in Pascoe Vale. Cole Reserve currently caters for AFL football and cricket (turf and synthetic).

The Cole Reserve netball court construction was funded by the Victorian Government through the Inner City Netball Program.

The budget for these courts was $286,322.

Construction of the Cole Reserve netball courts commenced in September 2017, with completion in December 2017.
