Coburg Children’s Centre - Construction works

The project involved construction of new facilities for the Coburg Children Centre and a Maternal and Child Health Centre within the old Pentridge Prison grounds.

The centre provides up to 120 places for children from babies to preschool age. The building has 5 main rooms for children’s activities as well as spaces for staff and a large central children’s yard.

Council's Maternal and Child Health service relocated from the building in Elm Grove, Coburg, across the road to the new centre.

Program timelines

Construction took place February 2016 to August 2017.
Works completed August 2017.
