Project overview

Council has undertaken drainage improvement works along Moonee Boulevard, Glenroy in order to address ongoing flooding issues within the drainage catchment.

The works commenced in mid June 2016 and included the following:

Diversion of the existing drainage system into a new underground drainage system and pits
Reinstatement of all asphalt road pavements and nature strips
Total length: 395 m

Budget and timeline

Budget: $427,000
Construction started in June 2016
Construction was completed in September 2016
