Connolly Avenue, Coburg - New pedestrian bridge
Project overview
Council has replaced the existing Merri Creek shared path bridge linking Connolly Avenue and De Chene Reserve which was damaged by flood waters in 2011 and 2013.
The new bridge was constructed to a higher level to accommodate future flooding events and to meet Melbourne Water requirements. Board walks have been built either side of the bridge to meet DDA accessibility requirements.

- Construction end date: December 2016
