Cancelled: Special Council meeting on 27 February 2018 (Media release)

There has been an extension of time on the proposed land sale at 1-33 Outlook Drive, Glenroy. As a result, this Special Council meeting has been cancelled.

A Special Council meeting has been called in accordance with section 84(2A) of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) and will be held at 5.30 pm on Tuesday 27 February 2018 in the Council Chamber, Merri-bek Civic Centre, 90 Bell Street, Coburg for the purpose of considering the First Right of Refusal offer from VicTrack in relation to 1-33 Outlook Drive, Glenroy and other submissions received from the community.

It is proposed that the matter be considered as a confidential item in accordance with sections 77(2)(c) and 89(2)(h) of the Local Government Act 1989 because it relates to a matter which the Council considers would prejudice the Council and the meeting will be closed to members of the public.
