Moreland's new Mayor: Cr John Kavanagh (Media release)

Merri-bek Councillors came together tonight to select Councillor John Kavanagh as Mayor and Cr Natalie Abboud as Deputy Mayor for 2017 - 18.

The special Ceremonial Meeting took place at the Coburg Town Hall

Cr Kavanagh said he was honoured to be elected Mayor.

“It is a great privilege and I am honored to have the support of my fellow Councillors,” he added.
