Counihan Gallery has been open for 20 years, and we're celebrating with 2 fantastic local exhibitions.
Twenty One Today is one display now until Sunday 3 March and features artists Angela Cavaliei, Robert Hollingworth, Douglas Kirwan and George Matoulas.
Twenty One Today features paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by artists who have established themselves over 2 decades as highly respected practitioners in their respective mediums.
Endangered Space is the second exhibition, currently on display until Sunday 3 March. This group exhibition is celebrating the 19th anniversary of Studio 23A, one of Brunswick's longest-running art studios. Reflecting the studio's role as a continued space for play, failure, and experimentation, this exhibition demonstrates some of the 'cross-pollination' that comes from working within a studio setting.
